This is the year for the Cougar Band's big trip, and we're going to Orlando, Florida in December!

Football Classic (San Antonio)
Football Game Tickets
Tickets to the Texas Football Classic, Cinco Ranch vs. San Antonio Reagan, on August
30 can be purchased in advance ($10 for adults and $5 for students)
from the Cinco Ranch Athletic Booster Club.
Tickets purchased in advance will benefit Cinco Ranch High School while those purchased at the gate in San Antonio for $12 will benefit the city of San Antonio.
All tickets are reserved seating, not general admission. If you would like to purchase tickets in advance, go to

Last chance to purchase reserved season
football tickets for $10 will take place on Sunday, August 24, from
4 to 6 p.m. at the Merrell Center, South (Main) Entrance Ticket Booth.

News - Summer 2008

Wind Ensemble makes Region; Area
and advances as a State Finalist in the Honor Band competition!
Judging for the TMEA Honor Band for our region was held on June 10. Congratulations
are in order as the Cougar Band Wind Ensemble came in first place and advanced to Area for the first time in our school history!
The next round of competition, on June 20, was the Area competition. The
Area competitions across the state narrow the field down to 14 state finalists. Cinco Ranch Wind Ensemble once again came in first place and advanced as a Texas 5A
State Honor Band Finalist!
This is a first not only for Cinco Ranch but also for high school bands in Katy
ISD. State Honor Band judging will be held on July 27, the first day of the Texas Bandmasters Association's convention in San Antonio.
"Both Region and Area Honor Band first place finishes are
significant accomplishments and a first for the Cougar Band!"
says Band Director Mike Ouellette. "I am
extremely proud of every member of the Cougar Band! Great Job! Go Cougar Band! The journey continues!"

- Big Trip Year: This is the year for the big trip.
In December we are going to the Champs Sports bowl game and Disney
World in Florida. The first payment installment of
$400 was due on August 9. If you want to help investigate the logistics of
