This performing group is comprised of students with similar performance abilities.

Auditions for Concert Band 2 will be held before each semester. Auditions are based on the following criteria:

• Report card grades
  
• Behavior and attitude
  
• Practice habits
  
• UIL-prescribed instrumentation (section size)
  
• Band rehearsal/performance attendance
  
• Tryout music performance
