Welcome new and returning band/color guard members and your families to the spectacular 2010 - 2011 Cougar Band year.
Our marching show, ”Odyssey” is under the direction of Mike Ouellette, Ray Jones, Tom Fesler and Tim LeBlanc.
This packet is for your benefit. It is full of valuable information. On the back of this letter is the Band Boosters Board Roster. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
In addition, Mr. Ouellette, director of bands, has a letter to welcome you to this year’s marching season.
The 2010-2011 season starts with practice on Monday, August 2nd for Freshman and the Student LeadershipTeam followed by Full Band Practice on Wednesday, August 4th and Money Day on
Saturday, August 7th.
MONEY DAY(madatory attendence) - Saturday, August 7, 9am to 12:30pm & 1:30pm to 6pm. This is the only opportunity for you and your student to purchase supplies, tax-free that the
band/color guard students are required to have for the year. There will also be merchandise that students and parents may want to buy for fun, such as caps, shirts and yard signs. The uniform
sizing times are listed on the last page of this packet as well as on the band website. We strongly encourage you to print the Money Day sample form out so you will have an idea of cost.
All forms and information needed are available online. Please print these and bring to Money Day.

Cougar Band Family BBQ and March-Off Meal Order Form: more info below
Our annual Cougar Band Family BBQ and March-Off will be held on Friday, August 20 from 6pm to 8pm in the high school main campus commons and in the back parking lot. Please park
in front of the school. The BBQ meal order form is due on Monday, August 16. Meal order forms can be turned in on Money Day or to the Band Safe. Meal service will begin at 6pm, and the student
march-off at 6:30pm. Meal service will continue after the march-off. There will be a short Cougar Band Booster meeting at 7:30pm. The evening’s activities are a wonderful opportunity for everyone
to get to know each other and to see the musical and marching accomplishments of the Cougar Band students.
