2010-2011 Band Trip December 27th - 29th

This year for our band trip the band has been invited to perform at the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio. This will be an exciting trip in which there will be a field show competition and a mass halftime band with over 1000 musicians on the field. It's a great opportunity for us to showcase our talents and to meet other musicians from all over the country. The band trip is never mandatory but always highly encouraged as every member is vitally important to the success of the band. It is very hard to perform with missing components. The trip this year will be from December 27th and return after the game on December 29th. As you know we must make payments and deposits for this trip and at the moment many details with transportation and meals are still be worked out. The approximate cost of the trip will be $600.00. The first deposit and reservation for the trip will occur on money day. This will be a $200.00 non-refundable deposit. This deposit secures your spot and will be used to reserve buses and hotel rooms and for me to determine the number of students going. It will be very difficult to add more students after this initial deposit. The rest of the trip payments will occur on Oct. 1 and Nov. 1. These payments will also be $200.00 non-refundable. I hope all of you attend the Alamo Bowl this year with the band as it will prove to be a very educational and rewarding trip. An itinerary will be available around the first day of school.
